Question
What book will you choose TWILIGHT or HARRY POTTER and why?
p.s give it a star if you like it..
Answer
Notice how most of the Twilight fans give short, empty vapid two or threeword answers whereas the majority of Harry Potter fans give lists and paragraphs? Just thought Id point that out. brbrIn any case, Id choose Harry Potter, because it has all the elements of a good story a coherent, cohesive plot that builds upon itself in the course of the seven books, great character development and great characters in general, adequately written prose much better than the Twilight nonsense and it has earned a spot in my heart for fun books I read in my childhood. Oh, and the bad guys in Harry Potter actually...you know, are bad! They get the job done! Not like the lame beyond comprehension Volturi that sit and hug it out and prepare for a huge fight that DOESNT HAPPEN.brbrNow Twilight, it has all the makings half ply toilet paper. I wouldnt use it to wipe my butt, its just that bad. The characters are boring, undeveloped, vapid and straight up stupid, who somehow fall in love based on shallow perceptions of being hot and smelling good. Thats true love if I ever saw it ltsarcasmgt The plot? What plot? Edward and Bella staring doe eyed at each other for the major part of four whole books does NOT constitute any sort of plot. And James showing up in the last quarter of the first book was too little, too late. Not to mention the messages! From New Moon, we learn that when dumped by our significant other, we should attempt suicide to hallucinate their return. From Eclipse, we learn to lead on two different men, at once! And from Breaking Dawn, we learn that Stephenie Meyer is batshit crazy and cements the fact that her writing went off the deep end and drowned in the crazy pool. Oh, and lets not forget the glorification of abusive relationships, pedophilia and child grooming! Theres plenty of that to go around in Meyers wet dream of a series. brbrHarry Potter will always be better than Twilight, on every single scale. I could continue, but I wont, since I have my own book to write
